Feeding your baby can feel overwhelming - physically, emotionally and mentally. It can affect your confidence, your sleep, your family life and so much more.
With over 15 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the early months with their baby. Whatever feeding challenges you may be facing, you do not have to navigate them alone.
Services
Whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping or using any feeding combination, we can work together to recognise any problems, find practical solutions and help you reach your feeding goals.
An initial consultation will look at:
Full medical and feeding history.
Oral function assessment.
Tongue-tie assessment.
Infant feeding assessment and support.
Optional - Baby weight using calibrated, highly accurate scales to 2g graduations.
Optional - Accurate nipple measurement for appropriate flange sizing (for those using breast pumps/nipple shields).
Note: Please review the Locations Covered section.
If parking supplement is required, this will be chargeable to the client.
After an oral assessment, if an oral restriction is identified, and if it is appropriate to divide the restriction immediately, this can be added onto the end of your initial consultation appointment.
I perform frenulotomies as an associate of the Natal Network (see FAQs for more info). Frenulotomies will therefore be referred, booked, documented and invoiced through their platforms.
Note: I do not offer a ‘quick cut-only’ appointment, as whilst tongue ties can impact feeding, they are rarely the only factor. Simply dividing the tongue tie may not resolve all feeding difficulties if other contributing factors are not addressed. For this reason, if after assessing your baby’s overall function, feeding and development, I may advise a personalised care plan including feeding strategies, home exercises and/or referrals to other specialists such as bodywork practitioners, or your GP.
If a tongue tie division is not clinically appropriate at this appointment, we can reschedule the procedure for a later date based on the reason it needs to be deferred. This rescheduled appointment is charged at the price of a follow-up consultation.
Book within 2 weeks of your initial appointment to review progress, adjust your care plan, or get extra feeding support. Remember, breastfeeding is a learnt skill for you and baby and it can take time to establish.
Note: If parking supplement is required, this will be chargeable to the client.
